Current USCG 50 Ton Master, Commercial Tow and Near Coastal Endorsement Licenses. First Aid / CPR Certified. TWIC Card certified. In the 39 years of my boating experience, I’ve spent the bulk of my time operating in the waters off Southern California from the Channel Islands down to Northern Baja including all the Offshore Islands especially Catalina.

I am a non-smoking, fun, honest and knowledgeable Captain with a passion of the sea like no other. As proof of this my son’s middle name is “ Marlin.” My number one priority is the safety of my passengers and will always take care of the vessel as it was my own. I am available for all aspects of "Personal Instruction" with your new vessel. My professional services always provide a fun and great learning experience for all involved. I have been a professional Captain in both Newport and Huntington Beach Xmas boat parades for over 15 years. I have been involved in many of our local marlin & tuna fishing tournaments. I have acted as main angler to head captain. I truly love just being out on the ocean and enjoying all it has to offer.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Recommendations and references provided upon request.
